The AJC Oaks is a Group 1 Australian thoroughbred horse race for three-year-old fillies at set weights run over a distance of 2400 metres at Randwick Racecourse, Sydney in April. 2006 Prizemoney is AUD$500,000

Race history

  • Up to 1956 this race was known as the Adrian Knox Stakes
  • From 1922 to 1945 the race was run over 1 mile (approx 1600 metres)
  • From 1946 to 1955 the race was run over 10 furongs (approx 2000 metres)
